Floor 4 Projects is a creative design studio located in Brooklyn, NY.  We spend our days dreaming up fun stuff for kids, for the home and for the ones we love. Our aim is to mix up the worlds of art and design, concept and comfort, experience and the unexpected.

We take great care in manufacturing our products. All of our materials are natural, organic or recycled in order to be kind to the Earth and everyone on it. Each product is made locally by hand and in small runs to ensure quality, sustainability and to support the talented businesses in our community. We offer our products in limited editions, which enable our minds to run free with experimentation.

Leah Dumigan is a toy designer, sculptor and installation artist by training, who always envisioned forming her own art & design studio. She has been working in the toy industry for the past 6 years, beginning her career as a designer in the infant plush, arts & crafts and role play categories. In early 2009, after steady news of lead tainted toys from China, Leah decided to switch gears and move into freelance and consulting work with companies that specialize in organic toy product. There she learned the value of sustainable, non-toxic materials, natural dyeing processes and an overall healthier way of designing product for children. This past year, Leah found the time was right to start her own studio as a way to combine all of her training and experience, her values and her vision, and so began Floor 4 Projects.
